Can I just say that discovering new musicals you had no idea about is both disappointing and amazing? It can be awfully disappointing that you’ve missed so much time rejoicing the wonderful nature of awesome musicals such as Wicked, Hamilton, First Date, Heathers, Next to Normal, and so on. So anyway…
I recently discovered a revival musical that was on Broadway in 2014. Oh my goodness! Side Show the musical is just breathtaking. The music and the emotion is so alive it could recharge so many hearts. It’s that good.
Seriously, you can keep reading this, but I highly suggest you go and look at some clips and songs from this show. Below are some awesome examples in the links
Side Show 2014 Revival Poster starring Erin Davie and Emily Padgett. Music by Henry Krieger. Lyrics and book by Bill Russell.
of what I’m talking about. You all need to know what I’m talking about.
This show is about two conjoined sisters who struggle to live a normal life, let alone a life of fame as they aspire to be performers of the 1930’s. Daisy and Violet Hilton (Erin Davie and Emily Padgett) struggle through, but together, they are unstoppable and more beautiful than ever. Their strength of carrying on inspires you, and their relationship warms your heart until it melts.
Gosh, if you’re still reading, you’re really wonderful! So check it out, and comment your thoughts! Like it? Hate it? Love it? Indifferent? Let me know! I’d love to hear!
Love you all!

In a new year, we have new things to think about. We might look back with ill feelings, but we should look back and realize the decisions we’ve made are important and have led us to what we are made up of: people full of possibilities. The things that are done for the dreams we want make us who we are. Never forget that.
I posted Hamilton for my inspiration of the day, because why the heck not? His Star Wars debut is coming up!

Whether you have had a break up or not, break up songs are really fun to listen to at any time. They are filled with the hurt, the hate, and the passion. Break-ups range from Women vs. Men to Person vs. Plans and Dreams. I personally would have to say for the best break-up songs, it’s best to put your old T-Swift on hold and look to Broadway for the best, heart wrenching, angered, saddened, distraught, blood pumping, brutal break-up songs of all time.
